Six debut vendors you won't find at every holiday market

Refresh Market features a handpicked selection of local makers, artists and creatives who thrive in our curated, communal market environment. Expect to reconnect with some of your favourite and familiar faces from previous markets, as well as meet new artists and small shop owners participating in Refresh for the very first time.

Just as we select vendors, vendors select us. Here are some first-time Refresh vendors you won't find on the typical market circuit:

Loper & Haas: A Vancouver-born line of leather goods that is like that favourite sweater or pair of jeans you'll want to keep forever. Read our artist interview here.

Hi Rachael Ryan: A beautiful collection of watercolour illustrations by California-born, Colorado Rockies raised artist Rachael Ryan who is back in Squamish (for now) and we hope she stays.

Tofino Tote: A calming collection of one-of-a-kind canvas bags and accessories hand-painted and sewn by Vancouver Island artist Kayoko Kawano

Flopsy Life: A curated collection of vintage and previously loved clothing by sought-after independent brands such as Ace & Jig and Rachel Comey. She's also just launched a new book on wardobe building.

Sarah Leckie Ceramics: Vancouver Island based artist Sarah Leckie brings something different to the range of ceramics to be found at Refresh with her monochromatic creatures and salt fired work.
