Welcome to Refresh! We are excited to have you in our December 6 & 7 holiday market lineup. We have created a convenient vendor participation kit here to provide you with useful information and tips as you prepare for the market.

Please do not announce your participation until our full lineup is released.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Friday, December 6
4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday, December 7
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

+ Venue + Directions

Audain Art Museum, 4350 Blackcomb Way (Map)

The Holiday Market will take place within the Cressey Hall area and the Upper Gallery space, offering access to the current temporary exhibition.

Important Information for Food and Beverage/ Plant & Floral vendors: Due to the nature of your product you will be located within the Cressey Hall area of the market floor plan as food/florals are not permitted beyond the entrance to the glazed hallway.

+ Parking

The Museum is centrally located in Whistler Village in between Municipal Parking lots 3 and 4. Parking is available with a seasonal pricing structure. Parking is available in Day Lot 3 & 4 located beside the venue for $5.00 per day.

+ Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted within the venue; please leave your furry friend behind.

+ Accommodations

Please note this is Whistler's busiest week of the year and we are unable to secure preferred vendor guestroom rates. We recommend booking accommodations as early as possible if you plan to stay overnight on Friday, December 6.


LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT

+ Set-up Hours

Friday, November 15
Set-up: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Saturday, November 16
Set-up: 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

+ Load-In

We are coordinating a structured vendor load-in within these hours. All vendors must be market-ready by 3:30 p.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Vendors will receive a load-in schedule and floor plan during the week of the event.

Vendors located in Main Lobby (Cressey Hall) will load in from Blackcomb Way during your designated load-in time. There is 5-minute drop off area located in front of the entrance to the Museum. You will have a maximum of 30 minutes to unload and move your car to allow for other vendors to load in.

Vendors in the Upper Gallery will load in via the loading bay located off of Day Lot 4. The loading bay will be single load in at a time (one vehicle only) and is a raised dock for freight deliveries. The elevator is quite large and will accommodate a high volume. You will have a maximum of 15 minutes to unload and move your car to allow for another vendor to load in.

+ Overnight

The venue will be locked and secured overnight, and overnight security will be in place. We do encourage you not to leave items of high value in your space. Doors will open to vendors at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Refresh Market and Audain Art Museum are not responsible for any damages or theft that may occur.

BOOTH DISPLAY

+ Lighting, Power + Supplies

Power is available throughout the venue. While access to power outlets is not guaranteed, most vendors are able to access a power source with the help of an extension cord. Please bring an extension cord and consider whether your display may need additional lighting. Please also ensure your cord is secured properly so that it does not become a tripping hazard.

Please bring your own linen as well as anything else required to set up our space and move your inventory (such as a dolly) as move-in equipment is not provided. Please also ensure you have everything you need, such as dollies, scissors and tape, to ensure a smooth load in.

+ Food and Beverage

The venue is located within close proximity to Whistler Village restaurants and cafes.

A private seating area reserved for Refresh vendors with access to water will be set up in the “Studio” area in the front lobby of the Museum. There will be free coffee for vendors on Friday and Saturday morning.

+ Sales

Vendors are encouraged to accept all payment types at Refresh Market. Please note there is no ATM at the venue. The closest ATM is across the street at the Brewhouse. Please keep in mind that WiFi may not be reliable. Please ensure you have the appropriate data plan and tools to accept your preferred methods of payment.

Refresh is highly scouted by small shop owners looking to discover new artists, makers and brands. It’s typical for wholesale orders to take place at the market.

We actively develop creative content for newsletters, blog posts, gift guides, artist spotlights and media.

At Refresh, vendors have the opportunity to connect face-to-face with fellow artists, makers and small shops for resource sharing, trades and collaboration opportunities.

We host a variety of giveaways across multiple channels. If you would like to contribute a prize, please get in touch here and be sure to include your item description and value.

We do not sell, share or distribute lists of market attendees to any organization or individual, nor do we share your contact information as a market vendor. We are not affiliated with any organizations sending emails out on our behalf. Any emails advertising the purchase a Refresh Market attendee list should be disregarded and treated as spam.
