I understand that if my vendor application is successful, I agree to abide by the terms and conditions of participation as outlined below.

Market Vendors:

Our receipt of your vendor application does not guarantee acceptance.

We accept vendor payments by email transfer only. Once accepted, an email transfer must be sent to refreshmarketsquamish@gmail.com within 72 hours of acceptance. Vendor fees are non-refundable. Once accepted, vendors are expected to help showcase the event through their social networks and word of mouth. 

Swag Bag participation is required by all Refresh Market vendors. Vendors will be asked to submit 50 items for inclusion in our market swag bags. Further details will be provided upon acceptance.

Discount coupons, promo codes and single postcards/stickers will not be accepted as swag on their own. There is no shared participation. Vendor spaces are 6ft, 8ft, 10x6ft or 10x10ft with one chair per table. Table linens are not provided. Additional chairs will be provided upon request and are subject to availability. Vendor supplied furniture may be allowed with prior written permission.

Vendors agree to being photographed at Refresh Market and to allowing market photos to be used for promotional purposes. 

Load-in begins the morning of the event at 11am. We will provide all participating vendors with a set-up/tear-down schedule prior to the event. Vendors will be notified of their location upon arrival at the event. All vendors are required to dismantle and clear their belongings immediately following the close of the event. Vendors are required to remain set-up in their market booths until the close of the event. 

This is a vetted event. Vendors must provide image links or individual image files for the product/s to be sold at the event. No "sale", "% discount" or "clearance" signage is permitted at the event. Vendors are responsible for their own signage, permits, product labels, collection of sales tax and credit/debit services.

Refresh Market vendors are solely responsible for obtaining necessary permits, licenses, facilities, insurance, and approvals required to sell your goods at the market. Refresh Market is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft as a result of failure to do so. If any government agency, court, person or commercial body orders sale of your products cease, you will immediately comply with this order. As a vendor, you will indemnify Refresh Market for any loss, fine, penalty, judgement, legal fees, and expenses reasonably connected with your failure to comply with the terms of this agreement or any liability, negligence, gross negligence or injury resulting from your products, actions, conduct, booth setup, display or trade activities. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your application.

In the unlikely circumstance that the event is cancelled, we will not provide any compensation for loss of income.

 

Market Food Trucks:

Market load in will take place on Friday, April 27 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Remember that there are going to be many other vendors setting up, so it’s necessary to arrive on time. 

We accept vendor payments by email transfer only. Once accepted, an email transfer must be sent to refreshmarketsquamish@gmail.com. Market space is non-refundable.

Food trucks can remain on site overnight. Security will be in place, however Refresh is not liable for lost or stolen items. 

Food trucks are not permitted to leave before the end of the event. If there is a pressing concern, or emergency, please inform us at the event before packing up. If there is no valid reason, this will affect your participation at future Refresh Market events.

All food vendors are responsible for providing individual own hand washing stations and planning individual spaces accordingly to accommodate this station.

Each food vendor must comply with all VCH rules and have VCH approval before event day. If Refresh does not receive this information Refresh Market participation will not be granted.

Access to electricity will be provided upon request.
